SATELLITE SYMPOSIUM


Satellite Symposium ● Lifecycle Cohort Studies
This symposium will be held in São Paulo as a satellite event of the 13th World Congress on Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (https://www.dohad2025.com.ar/). The goal is to bring together experiences from cohort studies conducted in different settings, highlighting key advances and challenges in this research area, and fostering international collaboration networks.

- Participant Selection Criteria and Submission Guidelines
Registration: Free (includes coffee breaks and lunch), limited to 180 participants.
Target Audience: Undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and researchers involved in life cycle cohort studies.
Selection Criteria: Participants will be selected by the Scientific Committee based on submitted documents.
Submission Requirements (documents must be in English and sent to lifecyclecohorts@gmail.com by July 31, 2025):
(a) Personal Statement – Justification for attending the symposium and its relevance to the applicant’s academic/professional development.
(b) Research Project Description (1 page) – Include institution, program, and expected completion date.
(c) Recommendation Letter (for students/postdocs) – From the applicant’s advisor/supervisor.
(d) Short CV (max. 3 pages) – Highlight research experience and publications.
(e) Oral Presentation Abstract (if applicable) – In English (max. 3,000 characters, including spaces), with title, authors, affiliations, and funding. Research proposals will not be accepted.
